Orange Coffee Scrub

Scrub kopi termasuk scrub favorit yang happening sejak beberapa tahun lalu – thanks to Frank Body from Australia. Scrub kopi ini memberikan instant result – kulit lebih moist, lebih smooth, lebih cerah, just right after we use it. Dan aroma scrub kopi ini so invigorating….aroma kopi ini bisa menimbulkan feelings of warmth and love!

While scrub kopi ada banyak dijual di luaran, tapi scrub kopi ini gampang bikinnya. For those who are coffee addict like me, I bet you deal with spent coffee grounds problem. Nah, we can repurpose ampas kopi menjadi scrub kopi. Or, if you don’t drink coffee, you can ask spent coffee grounds from barista at the coffee shop near you – mostly barista/coffee shop akan senang hati memberikan ampas kopinya for free.

Let’s make the scrub!

Orange Coffee Scrub

Equipment

• Digital kitchen scale

• 1 bowl

• 1 spoon

• 1 spatula

• 1 plastic/glass jar ukuran 300gr

Ingredients

• 100gr dried spent coffee grounds (aka ampas kopi)

• 100gr sugar

• 30gr orange infused coconut oil – How to make infused oil here

• 10 drops orange essential oil

How to Make

1. Measure all of the ingredients listed above

2. Put all ingredients in the bowl

3. Mix carefully – sampai tercampur dengan rata

4. Masukkan essential oil

5. Aduk lagi

6. Simpan scub ke dalam jar, jauhkan dari tempat yang terkena cipratan air

How to Use

1. Ambil scrub secukupnya, taruh di mangkok kecil

2. Tutup rapat sisa scrub dalam jar

3. Basahi badan, kemudian gosokkan scrub

4. Tunggu scrub sampai mongering (optional)

5. Bilas hingga bersih

Note

It is recommended to use dried spent coffee grounds alias ampas kopi kering. Mengeringkan ampas kopi dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara: jemur, pakai oven atau disangrai.

Feel free to substitute orange infused coconut oil dengan carrier oil lain, seperti olive oil atau sunflower oil

Feel free to substitute orange oil dengan essential oil – sst..peppermint is one of the most favourite essential oil to pair with coffee

Gula digunakan untuk menambah sensasi exfoliating dan pelembab. Gula dapat diganti semuanya atau separonya dengan garam berukuran fine untuk efek deep cleansing
